Lessons
Those learning to play the piano should be well rounded and have fun! As a result, Sidsie offers lessons that teach students music theory and aural skills, to develop technique, and to read, memorize, and perform music. Additionally, Sidsie's lessons offer fun options such as composition, arranging, and basic jazz skills.
Private Lessons
Sidsie offers lessons of different lengths to accommodate the individual needs of each student. Options include:

$90 per month for weekly 30 minute lessons

$135 per month for weekly 45 minute lessons (minimum requirement for competing students)

$180 per month for weekly 60 minute lessons (advised for competing students)

Private lessons include ear training to hear intervals, chord types, and transcribing melodies; music theory by teaching basic theory terminology and analyzing the pieces learned; and different technical exercises. Faber's Piano Adventures are also used to teach these principles and solo pieces are mastered for performances. If students are interested, lessons may also include composition, arranging, and jazz.
